Planinski pritlikavi bor Winter Gold je počasi rastoč zimzeleni iglavec. Ima kompaktno krono in krasno zlato obarvane iglice predvsem poleti in jeseni. V višino zraste od 0,5 do 1,5 m, v širino pa med 1 do 2 m. Rastlina potrebuje veliko sonca, dobro odcedna in rahlo kisla tla. V višino in širino doseže od 0,5 do 1m.
