Ta rastlina je bolj enostavna kot njeno ime. Temno ali svetlo zeleni listi so v sredini kremasto obarvani. Velki so lahko tudi do 30 cm. Sok te rastline je strupen, zato jo postavimo izven dosega otroških rok.
Himalajska cedra cepljena na deblo ima bolj enakomerno krošnjo kot grmičasta oblika. Zraste do 80 cm visoko, v širno lahko do cca 1,5 m. Primerna za grobove, gredice, skalnjake.
